Oral Rehabilitation
What is Oral Rehabilitation for?
The search for a “perfect” smile is ever-increasing. Thanks to the exponential development of dental materials and associated techniques, Oral Rehabilitation allows for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. This is because, through oral aesthetics, it is possible to improve their image, self-esteem and quality of life.
There are several alternatives for solving problems with the shape, size, position/alignment, symmetry/proportion, surface texture and color of teeth. And, given the diversity of Oral Rehabilitation options, it is common for it to be combined with other areas of Dentistry to provide the most suitable solution for patients.

Many ways to get the best smile
Oral Rehabilitation is an area with a wide range of options, from single direct restorations to full fixed prostheses on dental implants.
It is therefore worth distinguishing between the two types of oral rehabilitation:
- Direct restorations – simpler, such as the treatment of a cracked tooth;
- Indirect restorations – more complex, they are produced in the laboratory, such as inlays, onlays and overlays; crowns; dental veneers; bridges, removable or fixed prostheses (partial or total).
Of the latter, we highlight the importance of total fixed prostheses and dental veneers, as these are treatments that are carried out frequently.
Fine but effective solution!
Dental veneers or contact lenses are small, very thin pieces of ceramic, custom-made for the teeth you want to restore. As well as being long-lasting, they are resistant and make it possible to profoundly transform a smile.
They are often used to help correct aesthetic problems that prevent you from having a beautiful smile. They solve problems such as
- Stained or darkened teeth
- Worn or fractured/broken teeth
- Crooked or misaligned teeth
- Teeth with irregular spaces between them
