But is it really worth being afraid of getting dental implants?

Nov, 2023

Is it worth being afraid of getting implants?

Dental implants are the most comfortable and viable solution for replacing missing teeth, regardless of how many you need.

Placing dental implants is a simple, painless procedure that restores the patient’s self-esteem and substantially improves their well-being.

We most often associate tooth loss with the elderly, although this is not an inaccurate association, it is incomplete. Anyone, at any age, can lose one or more teeth as a result of an accident, poor oral hygiene, a poor diet or illness. We receive patients every day who want to rehabilitate their smile but don’t know how. Many patients are already aware of the advantages of dental implants, but many are still a little fearful of having implants placed.

There’s no need to be afraid, just follow the dentist’s instructions and carry out some post-operative care so that everything goes as it should. As with natural teeth, the patient must respect basic oral hygiene care and keep up regular visits to the dentist.

A smile – or the lack of one – can tell a lot about someone. It’s impossible to think about smiles without thinking about teeth. We all have the natural, and often unconscious, instinct to look at other people’s teeth when they talk or smile. Opting for implants is the right choice because you’ll be able to aesthetically restore your smile and all its functions.
